Major part of our lives consists of doubts. Sansar is doubt. Sar in Sansar is sriddha – trust. The purpose of any religious journey could be only one to travel from Sansar to Sar. Doubt is because you are out. Once you get in you find no doubt. But all that that is Maya or Mayik is Sansar and success here could be achieved only through the process of doubt.
That is how of and why of what Arjun says:
jyayasi cet karmanas te mata buddhir janardana
tat kim karmani ghore mam niyojayasi keshava
vyamisreneva vakyena buddhim mohayashiva me
tad ekam vada niscitya yena sreyo ’ham apnuyam
